Expertise and background At Telecom New Zealand from 1993 to 1995 he managed the market customer satisfaction and customer value research programme. The customer value research programme was developed in conjunction with Ray Kordupleski of AT&T. All operational aspects of the research were managed including econometric analysis of the data. This assignment included a major project to review, update, and redesign these surveys for Telecom New Zealands Chief Operating Officer. Previous assignments with Telecom New Zealand included various positions in Technical Sales support and Sales management roles. Owen graduated from the University of Waikato in 1992 with a Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) majoring in Marketing. He lives in Hamilton New Zealand, and is married with six children.
